6 days of hickory golf in Donegal
Arrival Day
Thursday, September 30
Arrive Dublin — Settle In *
Because most flights from North America travel overnight and arrive in the AM, we suggest that all guests arrive a day early to acclimatize and relax. You are free to explore and sightsee in Dublin and area on this day. Hotel accommodation is included for this evening. Airport Hilton or similar. Full tour begins tomorrow.

Day 1
Friday, October 1
Warm-Up Round — Buncrana Golf Club
Travel to Buncrana for a Practice round at Buncrana Golf Club — the oldest 9-hole links in Ireland. The evening brings the Welcome Event for the Irish Hickory Golf Challenge Open.
Day 2
Saturday, October 2
North West Golf Club — International Scramble
Championship play begins at North West Golf Club, known as the St. Andrews of Ireland. An International Scramble mixer with Golf Ireland members and international participants, followed by a post-round meal and pint in the clubhouse.
Day 3
Sunday, October 3
Ballyliffin Old Course — Championship Round 1
Championship Round 1 at the legendary Ballyliffin Old Course. Post-round meal and pint included. Afternoon sightseeing TBD, with evening entertainment at the hotel.
Day 4
Monday, October 4
Championship Round 2 — Gala Awards Dinner
Championship Round 2 at North West Golf Club or Ballyliffin Old Course (TBD). Post-round meal and pint included. The evening culminates in the Final Awards and Celebration Dinner at the hotel.
Day 5
Tuesday, October 5
Departure Day
Check out and transportation back to Dublin Airport or Derry Airport if needed. We have scheduled this event to allow for folks to also attend the World Hickory Open in Scotland — available flights out of Derry, Belfast, or Dublin.
* Guests arriving from Europe may choose to travel direct to the Tournament City and Hotel — we can delete that "jetlag day" in Dublin and transport costs for that day.

What does the trip include?
Our price is what you pay. No hidden extras, no surprises. All golf and tournament fees, 4-star accommodation, 2 meals daily (including a post-round pint), luxury coach transportation, all excursion costs, and all tips are included — so you really do not have to open your wallet again.
How many people will be on the tour?
The Irish Hickory Golf Challenge is Limited to 54 golfers. Typically between 12–20 golfers join our tours. This gives each group a great diversity of personalities, but is not overwhelming. We also do our best to vet our guests. The magic of our trips is that each guest who joins wants to have the time of their lives!
What if my spouse doesn't golf but wants to come?
Absolutely. There is a small premium for non-golfing guests staying in the same room as a golfer. Their itinerary includes additional tours and excursions while golfers are on the links — spa treatments, shopping excursions, art, and other local cultural excursions.
I'm not a great golfer. Is this the right tour for me?
This is not a Pro Tour. The courses are challenging, but we are here to experience and enjoy. We ask that you hit from appropriate tees and maintain a pace of play (max double par on any hole). The average scores range from mid 80s to high teens. This trip is for all!
What is your refund policy?
Unfortunately, we cannot offer a refund as we must pay in full long before the tour starts. However, you can substitute at any time. Please note we must withhold €500 due to the work involved. All hotels, meals, transportation, and activities are pre-paid so early departure credits are not possible.
Can you create a custom tour?
We are pleased and well equipped to offer custom itineraries covering golf, accommodation, local transportation, and non-golf experiences. We rely on the support of our many friends, hotel and golf club partners to craft relaxed or precise itineraries that satisfy every expectation.
