Arrive Dublin — Settle In
Because most flights from North America travel overnight and arrive in the AM, we suggest that all guests arrive a day early to acclimatize and relax. You are free to explore and sightsee in Dublin and area on this day. Hotel accommodation is included for this evening. Portmarnock Resort — the resort is a quick ride to the DART and easy access to Dublin City Centre. Full Tour itinerary begins tomorrow.

Another Day to Explore Dublin
A second day to explore Dublin at your leisure. Afternoon visits to EPIC The Irish Emigration Museum and the Guinness Storehouse, with an evening in the lively Temple Bar quarter.
Suggestions: The hop-on hop-off Buses are a great way to see and explore Dublin. *Note Red and Green are not interchangeable.

Portmarnock Resort — Jameson Links*
The tour officially begins with a round at the renowned Jameson Links at Portmarnock Resort, one of Ireland's finest links courses right on the doorstep of the hotel.

Bundoran Golf Club — Travel to the North West*
The tour officially begins with a round at Bundoran Golf Club, a hidden gem perched above the Atlantic on the rugged Donegal coast. Founded in 1894 and designed with natural flair, Bundoran is a course that rewards creativity over power — its compact layout, quirky holes, and spectacular sea views make it one of the most enjoyable and characterful rounds in Ireland. Don't let its modest reputation fool you; this is pure golf fun. Post-round we travel mere metres to settle in at the Great Northern Hotel.

Strandhill Golf Club*
A day at Strandhill is a day you will not forget. Perched on a dramatic peninsula jutting into the Atlantic on the west coast of Sligo, Strandhill Golf Club is a raw, windswept links of the finest character. With Knocknarea mountain looming behind and Benbulben rising to the north, the scenery alone is worth the journey — but the golf more than matches it. Tight fairways, deep rough, and greens that demand respect make this a proper test, yet the course carries a warmth and accessibility that keeps every level of golfer smiling. A true hidden gem of Irish links golf.

Donegal Golf Club (Murvagh)*
Few courses in Ireland command the kind of reverence that Donegal Golf Club at Murvagh inspires. Laid out on a dramatic peninsula that juts deep into Donegal Bay, the course is entirely surrounded by water on three sides, with the Blue Stack Mountains rising to the east and the Atlantic stretching endlessly to the west. Designed by Eddie Hackett — Ireland's most beloved links architect — Murvagh is a long, demanding, and utterly spectacular test of golf. The fairways roll through towering sand dunes, the rough is unforgiving, and the wind is ever-present. Yet for all its challenge, there is a wildness and beauty here that makes every hole a pleasure to play. This is links golf as nature intended — raw, remote, and unforgettable.

Narin & Portnoo Golf Club*
Narin & Portnoo is one of those rare courses that stops you in your tracks. Perched on the edge of the Atlantic in the wild heart of County Donegal, this is a links of extraordinary beauty and genuine challenge. The course tumbles across a headland of ancient dunes, with sweeping views across Gweebarra Bay, the islands of Inishkeel and Arranmore, and the mountains of the Donegal interior. Founded in 1930, it has the feel of a course that has always been here — shaped by the land rather than imposed upon it. The greens are fast and true, the fairways demand precision, and the wind off the Atlantic ensures no two rounds are ever the same. Narin & Portnoo is the kind of place that golfers return to again and again, and never tire of.

Carne Golf Links — Hackett Course*
Carne Golf Links is widely regarded as Eddie Hackett's masterpiece — a towering, elemental links carved from the most dramatic duneland in Ireland. Set on the remote Belmullet Peninsula in County Mayo, Carne is as far from the manicured and the managed as golf gets. The dunes here are among the tallest in Europe, the fairways tumble and twist through ancient terrain, and the views across Blacksod Bay and the Atlantic are simply breathtaking. Hackett completed the course in 1995, one of his final designs, and it stands as a fitting monument to his life's work. Playing Carne is a humbling, exhilarating experience — a reminder of why links golf exists in the first place.

Carne Golf Links — Wild Atlantic Dunes Course*
A second day at Carne brings the Wild Atlantic Dunes Course — a newer companion to the Hackett layout that pushes even further into the raw duneland of the Belmullet Peninsula. Designed to complement the original, the Wild Atlantic Dunes course is bolder and more exposed, with elevated tees, plunging fairways, and greens set among the dunes in positions that feel almost impossibly dramatic. Two rounds at Carne back-to-back is a rare privilege — each course reveals something the other does not, and together they make Belmullet one of the great golf destinations in the world.

Everything you need to know
What is the $1,500 service charge?
Our trips are priced to you at "Cost" — that's right, you pay what we pay. Period. The only money we make is based on providing the service of booking, coordinating, and leading the tours. This amount covers our flights, accommodation, meals, golf, and expenses. Yes, it is a horrible business model.
What does the trip include?
Our price is what you pay. No hidden extras, no surprises. All golf fees, 4-star accommodation, 2 meals daily (including a post-round pint), luxury coach transportation, all excursion costs, and all tips are included — so you really do not have to open your wallet again.
What about tips and additional charges?
We have traditionally included all gratuities and service charges in our overall cost structure. Here is what travellers on other tours pay out of pocket: Coach Driver Tips are roughly £/€10 per person per day. Restaurant Group Service Fees run 10–15% on group meals. Forecaddie fees are roughly £/€120 (cash only), with a £/€20 tip per player. Personal Caddie fees are roughly £/€100 (cash only), with a £/€50–60 tip per player. These are all additional costs that travellers are responsible for on other tour company trips. We include them in our price — which can make a direct comparison difficult, but represents genuine value.
How many people will be on the tour?
Typically between 12–20 guests join our tours. This gives each group a great diversity of personalities, but is not overwhelming. We also do our best to vet our guests. The magic of our trips is that each guest who joins wants to have the time of their lives!
What if my spouse doesn't golf but wants to come?
Absolutely. There is a small premium for non-golfing guests staying in the same room as a golfer. Their itinerary includes additional tours and excursions while golfers are on the links — spa treatments, shopping excursions, art, and other local cultural excursions.
I'm not a great golfer. Is this the right tour for me?
This is not a Pro Tour. The courses are challenging, but we are here to experience and enjoy. We ask that you hit from appropriate tees and maintain a pace of play (max double par on any hole). The average scores range from mid 80s to high teens. This trip is for all!
What is your refund policy?
Unfortunately, we cannot offer a refund as we must pay in full long before the tour starts. However, you can substitute at any time. Please note we must withhold €500 due to the work involved. All hotels, meals, transportation, and activities are pre-paid so early departure credits are not possible.
Can you create a custom tour?
We are pleased and well equipped to offer custom itineraries covering golf, accommodation, local transportation, and non-golf experiences. We rely on the support of our many friends, hotel and golf club partners to craft relaxed or precise itineraries that satisfy every expectation.
